Only if the voices can predict the future.
I would think that if this were true, the voices wouldn't stop when they take their meds.

In the days of old they believed that.

but today it is known that they use a different area of the brain.

are they? I can tell you some believe they are. There have been some cases that have linked people that hear voices and they have told other people what the voices have warned her about. The warnings have turned out to be valid.

So I think the question is are physics schizophrenics?

This is quite an intriguing question. The more you think about it, the more possibilities you find. As for schizophrenics whose symptoms disappear whan they take meds, I think that could be a side effect of the medicine, as opposed to the 'clearing up' of symptoms. Saints and schizophrenics, psychics and 'psychos' seem to have a lot in common. Too much for coincidence, in my opinion.

Schizophrenia isn't a physic, despite intense research in recent decades, remains a bewildering disease. Researchers have used brain imaging to reveal that there is a startling loss of brain tissue in schizophrenics as the disease progresses.

The researchers call the progressive damage a "wave" of destruction; they describe the affected parts of the brain as having been "engulfed" by the disease process. It is a disturbing picture.

I believe that in some cases people have been misdiagnosed and that they are really psychic but I do not think this is the majority of cases. Schizophrenia does exist and is a very real disorder
