on sims 2 for ds if keeps saying i need to convince lord mole to stop chewing on the wires and i did but it still hasnt gotten rid of the goal what do i do ?

I've got this game and defeating lord mole is really easy! All you've got to do is get out your super drencher and fire at him for a few seconds. After that he'll talk to you and he won't chew the wires! Then go back to Optimun Alfred and talk to him.
