You sound surprised. Don't be. Minnesota matches up well against the best of the east. I like the chances for the Wild, Canucks, or Flames to be the third straight NW rep in the Stanley Cup finals (probably against the Sabres). And this year they win that seventh game.

being a huge sabres and wild fan...i went to the game and for the first time ever rooted against buffalo because i thought the wild needed the victory more. buffalo played absolutely awful. they looked like they werent in the game from the beginning. i was glad minnesota won though and im sure buffalo will come back tonight against nj. whats annoying is all these fans going oh buffalo sucks and crap like that. its not the end of the world. a loss isnt the end of the world. buffalo is already basically in the playoffs.
Go Sabres...and Wild.

I'm a sabres and wild fan. I'm really happy for minny b/c they came to play after having a game the night before and really took it to buff. It would've been a shame if Buffalo came out with a win with a couple lucky goals maybe early in the 2nd. Gaborik is also one of my favorite players and i'm really mad he couldn't put one of those in.
keep it up minny, i look forward to seeing you, and Gaborik, Rolston and Demitra in the playoffs.

Minnesota is a team of the future much like Pittsburgh, I love Marian Gaborik he is the real deal. They've been on fire lately and hell they got 3 goalies that can steal games how can any1 say just becuz Buffalo was missing players that they woulda won

You, my dear are phenomenal! It's about damn time somebody gives the Wild credit. Sadly, the game wasn't broadcast here in Minnesota, but I listened to it and it was a great game. As for the jackass who said there are no Wild fans, hows about he comes to my house, I'll show him the truest Wild fan!!!

sabres had a bad game. they didnt have good clean, crisp passes. plus minn is a descent team. they are on fire right now plus sabres are missing several regulars. its not a big deal

That was a pretty bad game as far as Buffalo gos. But I wouldn't get too excited dude, It was just a bad night, watch the NJ game tonight.

The wild were amazing!!! they deserved to win! Moore had 2 goals and Harding was amazing in net. too bad he didnt get a shutout. oh well he still was good
