One of my friends had a dj and a party planner for their 14th birthday in total it was probably like 600 or so. I am going to have a dj hopefully at my 16th either that or i will have a local band play.

I had one at my 13th birthday party, i'm turning 16 in 3 months, but at my 13th birthday party it was 400 dollars for about 4 hours. But rates can go anywhere from 300 to 1000 depending on time and what extras you want.

I did. But I knew the guy, so he did it without charging me. I'd say the average rate would be at the least $100 for a night, but it depends on where you live. I live in a relatively rural area, so things are cheaper here.
