A former question about homosexuality provoked me to see what kind of answers I would get if I asked this question. I am not looking for anyone's defenses, only how they feel on the subject, because I am curious as to how many others out there feel the same way I do. I guess this would be considered polling.

And if you are curious, I am not anti-gay.

So how do you feel about it?

I don't believe it's wrong. Bible thumpers will start pointing out a line from the Old Testament which they take to mean that God hates gay people. But the Old Testament was a tad harsh anyway. It tells you to beat your children too ("spare the rod, spoil the child"). Jesus came along & said forget all that crap. There are two commandments: Love God & love each other. Pretty simple. Jesus didn't judge people, except maybe hypocrites. Jesus was kind & accepting of everyone, even people that the rest of society rejected & hated (lepers, prostitutes & tax collectors).

In my opinion, nothing is morally wrong unless you are deliberately hurting someone. If two people of the same sex are attracted to each other, love each other & want to be together, then it's not hurting either of them. I think anyone who has sex with someone for the wrong reasons (if someone uses their partner & doesn't care about their feelings & misleads them in any way) is morally wrong whether they're straight or gay.

I'm straight myself but I've had gay friends & I think they're awesome people. Gay men are some of the funniest, most fashionable, lively, intelligent & interesting people I've met.

I think people should be allowed to be who they are without being judged. They can't help being born with certain feelings. Denying it & trying to be something they are not would be wrong. Some people try to do this & they end up married to the opposite sex & miserable & then they destroy their partner when they finally confess & want out of the phony marriage.

Be honest with yourself, be good to others & then I don't give a damn who you're sleeping with! Whatever makes you happy.

We must approach homosexuality from the Bible. For society is fickle and will bend to anything given enough time and pressure. That does not justify, nor should be an excuse to condone. Just make sure you understand that God loves the individual, however, their behavior and life choice will lead them into bondage that will harden their hearts to God's eternal salvation. Because Homosexuality involves so much emotional investment, it is almost impossible to tell the them the truth without being labeled with very harsh epithets.

Remember, the sin of homosexuality is no blacker than my sin. And if the Christian truly hated homosexuals, they would keep the message of salvation to themselves, not try to change them, and let them go on their merry way to destruction. But because we care, we take the slings and arrows of 90% of the media and public to speak the truth. Hopefully with love and salt.

The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that many of the new believers had been delivered from homosexuality in

1 Corinthians 6:9-11,

Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

If it were a genetic thing, then the Bible would not have shown that some were delivered. Your argument is with the Bible. If you do not believe the Bible, then your concern is moot. If you believe the Bible is the Word of God, then it states that you can be born again, transformed by the renewing of your mind, washed and cleansed.

I am neither here nor there on the matter. I am by no means anti-gay...I have gay friends and I love them regardless. Whether I agree with homosexuality or not - it is not something that I really care to worry about. However, take the catholic religion for example; I don't like or agree with it AT ALL - however majority of my friends are in fact catholic. I can still appreciate them for who they are - not what they are. It all just comes down to respect I say. If people simply chose to accept each other by embracing diversity, and respect the fact that we all have different opinions and beliefs - it would solve many problems in the world today.

in basic terms how previous is older? LOL i'm forty and right this moment. I help gay marriage on countless diverse grounds, no longer the least of this is that each and every physique human beings have an analogous rights below the regulation. i think like scuffling with homosexuals from marrying is a sort if civil rights infringement and is discriminatory. i do no longer see how the colour of somebody's skin or the religion they prepare or the intercourse of the human beings they love has a rattling difficulty to do with their fee as a individual and their rights below our shape. i'm going to provide you a splash very own testimony, too. I served in the Marines for 4 years. Foralmost a three hundred and sixty 5 days, I served with an concepts-blowing Lieutenant (who will stay nameless here). He grew to become into deeply worried for his troops welfare, he worked his rear off to coach for something we've been going to do, and he under no circumstances ate till his troops had eaten, under no circumstances slept till he knew we could mattress down. He grew to become into, briefly, the main efficient wrestle officer I ever met. He grew to become into additionally gay. This grew to become into formerly the "do no longer ask, do no longer tell" coverage, and a few horse's rear found out he grew to become into residing with yet another gay guy off base, and grew to become him in, ananymously, to the NCIS. They began the examine, making specific numerous nasty, unsubstantiated (and ultimately thoroughly unfaithful) tidbits have been given leaked, and this stellar youthful officer dedicated suicide relatively than letting his Corps and his troops get druig in the direction of the airborne dirt and dust

I think people should worry less about someones sexual orientation, color of skin, ethnicity, religious preference and all things topical, and focus more on the character of the individual.

It's funny how people who like to quote the bible and reference God and Jesus (when two of the things they supposedly preached was acceptance and tolerance) are very unaccepting and intolerant.

What exactly is the threat coming from homosexuality? Why are people afraid of two people of the same sex loving each other?

It's funny that we live in a country where we can watch violence in all it's color on television, seeing people get violently shot, but people get horrified at the thought of showing to men kiss. Fascinating.

I feel that homosexuality is wrong. The main reason being that in the Bible God calls it a sin. Men and Women are meant to be together, not man and man or woman and woman.

I am indifferent, what someone does behind closed doors is their own business as long as they aren't hurting anyone. I immensely dislike to see men acting like women as a lot of feminate gays do, makes me naucious

I don't see why anyone would feel the need to feel anything about it at all.

To me its like asking how do you feel about the gender of you refrigerator.

It's a non issue as far as I am concerned.

What people do in the privacy of their homes is no one Else's business.

Love and blessings Don

Don't tell me why you think it's right and I won't tell you why it's wrong, Then we can go get a sandwich or something.

People are people, and what they do is between them and God and none of my business. I just have to be tolerant of my fellow man and find issues we do have in common.

I think that perhaps it is what some people "do" as they are on their way to their "number one" mate just as I dated other girls as I hopefully would find my way to my NUMBER ONE, one day or another.
It may or may not have to do with a NON-VEGAN world... and so as to say.
