I think so , althought them yankees might blow us up! But I read somewhere this was a signed paper between the South And North , that the South could secede anytime , this is what happened in the war between the stes , the north would not let the South secede! The slavery issue caame much after, and even when the North won , the South having less steas in their lines ,fought bravely , furiously and with grat dignity! Viva de Sur!

They TRIED to secede... The whole Civil War thing? Yeah... But what do I know, I am only looking at the 10+ volume "The War of the Rebellion".

And if you think the civil war was about slavery, you need to study a little history. Slavery was AN issue not THE issue. Do you really think northerner were willing to send their sons to die for poor black slaves in the south? Come on.
