Every time that I try to put a background on my profile, it only shows up around the borders and the entire center of the page is white. The preview on the page that I got the code from looks the way I want it but I can't get it to match that on my page. How can I get it to work properly?

Hi, to make a background 100% in your space you can modify the code that you got if you don't know abou html codes you can go here and take a look at some types of background http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_backgrounds.asp
If you know how to modify it just look at tage and make changes as follow:
remove any word that say border="" add this code to the same line beside
and then look at the height and the with and remove them
add this now you have the body modified.
Step 2 for more spacefic way just remove all the line and right this:

I hope that work and take care

You could start all over and take all of the words out. And then copy and paste that way.
Or you could just pick another site to get your layout from.
