my favorite towels are the Grand Patrician Manor towels that Linens N Things carries. My most important factor on any towels is if they carry they bathsheet size (big huge towel). I like towels that are pretty thick and feel nice and absorbant. And typically like 100% egyptian cotton.

You should feel the towels to see if they are soft but absorbent. Make sure they aren't the type that just wipe the water around on your skin.

I would go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Look for towels that would keep their shape, and stay nice. It all depends on what you want.
