Always. I've walked through the valley of the shadow of death many times in my life, and I can honestly say that those times have made me stronger. We are all products of our environment. Some of the worst times in my life have given me aspects of who I am that are the most positive.

Depression leads to exhaustion which can lead to physical problems also. I try to live by this; I can make/take a joke in the middle of adversity. A vet I once had for my horses told me that he liked that about me.

I'm better at seeing the good in your bad situation than I am when the situation is mine. But either way - I can usually see the positive.

In a bad situation, I always try to see something good in it. A friend told me that I could find a flower in a pile of sh!t. I think that was supposed to be a compliment.

Yes, it may take me awhile though. I can always see the see the sliver lining in any situation. I think everyone should look for the good things in life.
