people say acer is a crap laptop? why is this? please help me!!! lol

People say lots of stuff that is just their opinion.
For a long time acer made Dell and HP laptops... and the ones they made were just general run of the mill laptops.
Now, I agree with the guy above... Dell are worse than run of the mill. Acer are not top league, but they are not crap. Some of the Acer ones are pretty good (thinks... acer Ferrari... my brother had one that survived lots of air travel). But they are not ultimate powerhouses, ultimate lightweight or ultimate indestructible.

Why do some people say anything they do ?
It's just their opinion, & the basis for this one may be that Acer uses mostly third party components & does little research & engineering of its own.
Like most manufacturers Acer has built some lemons but also some excellent units at great prices.

It does depend..
Dell is always crap..
The budget laptops from Acer might be a lil crappy.. the $400 ones..
I have a $1200 Acer.. It can chew up Sony Vio's and spit em !

People are idiots. DELL is a crap laptop, Acer is just generic.
