Given that her agents/publishers have Moslem names, I think that highly unlikely. In the UK the names for contact are: Syed Asad Abbas / Syeda Sonia Jaffri, Mr. Murtaza Bandeali of Alif International Uk. Not very Israeli sounding!

It is usual for publishers to finance the books unless self-published. In any event Anita Rai is Indian and her books are published in the UK.

I'd just like to point out to the previous answerer that those are not 'Moslem' names, they are Arabic names.

Not all Arabs are Moslems, and not all Moslems are Arabs.

There are also Israeli-Arab citizens, who may be Moslem, Christian or Jewish.

Not that this answers the question, but the kind of people who draw conclusions from incorrect generalisations are largely responsible for all of the social problems currently faced by the world...
