Make every day an adventure. Draw up a list of scavenger hunts for each day of the week (or month, whatever) and pull a new one out of a hat each week.
Look for excitement in the mundane. Act mysterious, like you could be caught on photograph at any moment. Study a new language and practise speaking it in public as if you were a foreigner.
Try to find things that give you a rush. See if you can catch a shoplifter at the mall (tell the staff, never confront one on your own). Pick up a police scanner - although they can be bloody depressing, and many police departments now use jammers.
That's a great question, which I will add to my watch list. I think we can all use a little adventure in everyday life.

Just do it! Take a risk each day (safe risks, don't go too crazy & endanger your life or anything!) Do something outside your comfort zone. Learn something new. Take a drive somewhere you've never been. Start a conversation with a stranger. Start a lifetime to do list & then start checking them off as you do them. Mine include: rock climbing (indoor to start), horseback riding, skydiving. Do something fun. Attempt something you don't think you can do. Stretch your boundaries. Find a spot on the map & go there. Explore the world. You can even have an adventure at home. Read. Delve into a good book & become part of that world or watch a good movie & be swept away for 2 hours. We can have small adventures each day. If you want a big adventure then save your money & plan a trip: a hot air balloon ride, a cruise, whitewater rafting, climbing a mountain (well this takes a lot of physical training to prepare for), going on safari. The world is your oyster!
Life is an adventure! Live it!

This is very easy. It is a matter of personal attitude. If you look at all of life as an adventure, you will experience it everyday. Stop to really look at the world and people around you instead of just glancing at them. Everyone and everything you see has a story and an adventure attached, just allow yourself to be open to experiencing them. Adventures can be as exciting as being on Safari or as exciting as seeing a new butterfly shining in the sun or the great feeling of a smile returned from one you gave to someone else. Happy adventuring.

evreyday IS a new adventure!! it is just that we took them for granted, the pressures of living, work, survival, humdrum existance etc that drags us to struggle day in & day out, that we no longer sees them as adventure but boring, & meaningless sunrise & sunset routine. see the world thru the eyes of a toddler, who just learn to walk, learning to explore the world, to him everyday is an adventure!!

Some say think of this day as a stepping stone - to whatever you want.
I recently got the dvd - The Secret - and it's amazing.
It gets you started believing in yourself again and again.
Your spiritual growth will soar!
GOD bless us always.
