I took a used phone they said it was locked and i needed a code.
I want simple phone that works there just put the SIM and use.

the most expensive on coz it won't be out here yet so if u want to sell it , it will go for loads
idealy nokia samsung sony errisson or blackberry lg

you can legally bring it from U.S. yourself or thro' anybody without any stringent rules.
it will work perfectly in india.
prefer for GSM than CDMA.
it is advisable to ask from the seller about its working in india.
