I think a better question would be, what's with this obsession with the notion that anyone with political views that differ from your own envies anything whatsoever about you? Is your ego literally so colossal that you can't fathom a world wherein nobody gives a flying f*** about the contents of your wardrobe? Besides, isn't the need to call attention to new shoes and accessories a bit girlie, frankly?

I would say yes, they're jealous, but I think the reason is because their belts are too worn to beat our military with, for doing the right thing, by getting the bad guys, in Iraq.
