These are the choices you make when you are young. There are not a lot of people that have been with their first sexual partners now a days. But they are making a come back. As soon as girls realize they are in command of the males. But in the last 20 years, it seems that the males have gotten the upper hand and will tell the girls anything they want to hear, to go to bed with them. I know I was 14 when I had my first sexual encounter. So 15 , 16 up to 21 should hold off until then to have a better understanding of themselves.

I was 13, not special, terrible really all wrong. No not with same person and yes some people do, they were just fortunate enough to be in love with the person they lost it to, but for the rest of us its just one of those things that doesnt deserve to much energy, I mean really it's kinda like your just getting it over with and getting on the road to experience twords making it right for the special one and getting all the wrong ones out of the way, you myaswell look at it that way since it wasnt the fairy tail way, to get through it, I know it sucks but it is what it is, good luck Kim

I was 16 and I don't think it was that special. But on the other hand he is the only person I have ever been with and we have been together for 11 yrs; married for almost 8 yrs. He tried to make it special for me, but my nerves had the ultimate say so.

I was way too young < 14. No it wasn't special. It was me trying to make an adult decision that I was not yet capable of making. If I could go back I would have waited but I don't dwell on the past. I am not with the same person thank God!

I was 18 years old. I thought it was special. He, on the other hand.. did not. I was young and so naieve, I thought that just because we had "taken that step" meant we were really "together" when in fact, he was very much interested in a co-worker we both worked with. It was a very heartbreaking/embarrassing situation for me..

I learned not to dwell on it though, cause nothing could change what happened. I moved on, as did he. Now we are both happily married (to other people, of course).

Pretty much all of my friends had lost their virginity by the time they were 16, they all said their first time wasn't great. I was a bit different, I didn't feel ready, I got dumped by a few guys because of this. When I met a great guy, he waited until I was ready (I was nearly 18) and it was GREAT! And we're still together five years later!
