I want to be a veterinarian technician. So far only my family has been supportive. I really like animals, am not afraid to see blood, and work more quickly in emergencies to them then to humans. My vet was one of those that said my want of being in the veterinary science would cease soon but it has already been like six years. So i just wanted to know if anyone has some tips on what to learn at 14 to be prepared for what's ahead.

Are you passionate about biology and chemistry. Both are an excellent set for medical professions. If you follow your curious drive and do your works you can become anything you want. anything.

Do you like to care about animals. Excellent. Go ask your friends and others on how do they take care about their creatures ... any vet stories that they want to share and what qualities they admire in a vet technician. Its fun and easy to talk cause most people like to share stories about encounters with meds. In that way you can start building understanding on what the vet 'patients' really want.
Wish you great and successful career.
