there are several pattern companies that have websites. The pictures in those sites will have the pattern number. Before buying them online check your local JoAnns Fabric, Rag Shop or Walmart for the pattern you want. I buy patterns at JoAnns a lot, they tend to have them for $1 for holiday sales, Joanns will also have 50% off on Vogue and Butterick. Rag Shop has $1 sales a lot. That way you won't have to pay full price for the pattern you want. After you buy a pattern they usually can't be returned so be sure of your measurements before buying. This is also why it is better to get them for $1 or 50% off if you can. Also when buying the pattern do NOT buy from the size you would look for off the rack clothing... use your measurements, pattern sizes tend to be upwards from off the rack clothing. A 12 off the rack might be a 14 on a pattern.

simplicity.com this company leans toward simple patterns, hence the name

mccallspatterns.com

voguepatterns.com this one is high end patterns with more elegant clothing

There is also a pattern company called Butterick, not sure what their site is.

I know there is a little more info than you asked for in this answer, just don't want you to get stuck with a pattern the wrong size or that you don't like after looking at the guide sheet to make it.
