Well, you can't beat Tim Burton for atmospheric films - I loved the environment he created for it, the colours, the clothing etc. But I think I still prefer the book - it lets you do your own imagining! I think the film was very true to the book and made it seem 'real' - which is what it's all about.

It put a lot of backround to the story compared to the other movies or storys I have read.

And of course Christopher Walken as the Horseman
