I asked this question as what is a kiniption fit , and it was answered, thank you , but im still not clear on the word kiniption.

Try looking it up in the dictionary ... but you must have the word spelled properly first. The pronunciation is 'kin-ip-shun' and you've done a good job of 'misspelling it by pronunciation clues. The word is actually 'conniption' ... and now I'm going to go look in my 'hard dictionary' and see what it means, too. I've heard it all my life ... when I was young I was told not to have a 'conniption fit' ... and when I was a mother with young children, I've told them not tho have a 'conniption fit' ... but I didn't realize until you asked your question that I, like you, have not a clue what the word 'conniption' means. Thank you.

Kiniption = a temporary freaky spasm usually before a temper tantrum. Momma says ''Don't have a (kiniption-fit)''... and it means stop being immature.
