I've been reading horror stories about girls using it on here.

But I don't want to ruin my skin by laying out in the sun [which i normally do] or a tanning bed

so what tanning lotion actually works? and doesn't turn you orange? and is just even and pretty.

I just don't want anything bad happening lol

I've used self-tanners for 4 years. Lately I've been using "Play It Safe" by Bath & Body Works on my body and Coppertone Gradual Tan for Face. They go well together and both give a nice natural tan. As long as you get the correct on for your complexion(light, medium or dark) you shouldnt have a problem getting orange. L'Oreal Sublime bronze is good too. Make sure you rub it in good and you wont have streaks!

Tips to get a good self-tan....
Exfoliate--shave your legs and use a scrub (St. Ives Apricot Scrub is good and cheap) on elbows, face, etc.

Start with legs and arms and then do torso and face. That way you dont get stripes on your stomach from bending over.

WASH YOUR HANDS...you they dont come out colored! When you're done with your face...which I always do last...take a cotton ball and put a dab of tanner on it and rub carefully on the tops of your hands not putting too much on knuckles since they tend to get dark.

Let everything dry good and get dressed.

Do at night...that way you get in bed (after you're good and dry) and you wont worry about something happening to the tan...like getting wet and then you have to start over!

first of all, tanning is so undesirable for you, you need to get skin maximum cancers from it. My mom have been given skin maximum cancers from tanning. right it is my advice to you, use a self-tanner. I even have honest skin so i seem particularly orange whilst i take advantage of them. the main suitable element to do is to apply a gentle tanner first (like Jergens) and then shop on with a self tanner. the main lifelike one that i've got got here upon is Strike Gold by skill of bath and physique Works. it particularly is a self-tanning lotion with bronzer and it additionally has a splash shimmer in it. It expenses approximately $15.00 for a tube, and you will seem darker after one use. i like it and that i think of that authentic now it is on sale on the bathtub and physique Works webstie. I even have friends that tan and that all of them use spellbound or bombshell.
