i have a video cd of song which do not run cd player of my car. so i want to convert it into a audio cd and remove the video . which software will i need. available on the net for downloading.

Quicktime Pro only has so many codec so that means it can only play a certain amount of videos, usually just .mov, .mp4, and .qt. There are way more formats in the world than just that and I bet your movie is one of those other ones. I use AVS Video Converter to extract audio (www.avsmedia.com). When you download the software, and run it, there is an option of when you import a video to edit it, and there on the bottom of the box says extract audio. AVS Video Converter contains too many codecs to mention but it has never failed for me. I edit video of all different formats and it's been able to handle every single video. Highly recommended.

Quicktime Pro would do it no problem
