Where did you learn to make website layouts?

I am good at making graphics however I don't know how to code. I'd really like to make my own website layout but I have to know how to code it. Where did you learn? I've been wanting to learn for years now.

A good place to start from the beginning is the Dummies series. It doesn't focus on design, but the technical side of how to get a page up and going from scratch, and doesn't assume that you know anything about making web sites already.
