when I asked a question as to whether anyone would be willing to sacrifice a son or daughter or themselves to the Iraq war effort? Oh and yes, I'll never be "sent over there" UNLESS Barbara and Jenna are.
Here is one of the responses.

"Yes I would you little flag burning painty waste terriost abbler...
Hope you get sent over there and they make you wear a towel on your head......WE have sons and daughters, Mothers and fathers over there now fighting to keep your sorry a** safe and free...........So support them and pray for their saftey then go get a real job and try to make something of yourself... (then get a haircut) "

(Oh and yes, my hair is quite long as is the hair of many females. I love it being long, cascading down my back...and I certainly would not allow the US military to EVEN touch it)

It is amazing that so many concentrate on the 'hair' comment rather than the answerers comment itrself. You forget that once again I am a female AND that the comment invited me to "get a haircut". I responded.
(and yes, we all have 'opinions'. Isn't it wonderful!!!)

They weren't even looking at your question, just key words that send bears of very little brain into a frenzy, lol. PS-If you had long hair (get a haircut) you would wrap it in a towel everyday after your shower, so what would be the point of...oh, never mind. Silly sheep.

You start off with the assumation our military can't win and they are being sacrifice.
There is dirty mission that needs to be done and the youth are standing up to do it and doing well.

You lite a match and put it to the fire and shock that someone responded in manner you didn't like.

If you are going to ask question be prepared to face a response.
Free Speech is for everyone and just because not everyone shares you view should make you upset.
It should make you aware that you don't know it all about what is going on.
That there are other views just as real and meaning to them.

I will never forget going home on leave on Christmas.
I was corpsman with Marines and looking so forward to seeing snow and being with my family.
The nice young lady that sat next to me said the following and it has haunted me "You kill babies!"
My job was to take care of the wounded and saving lives.

Yet she assumed I was a baby killer and love it.

Think about it next time you pose your questions.

Someone out there will disagree with you harshly.

It is call life get use to the idea you don't know it all.

I don't see what you're complaining about . Perhaps you could elaborate a little . The comment about the haircut was probably an inference to the user's view that you're a liberal hippie . The rest of the reply does make sense , but I'll wait to see if you make your point a little more clearly .

When I served my hair was long and cascaded down my back, when I was off duty. What about the term "All volunteer military" confuses you? No parent sends or sacrifices their child. The young adult makes up their own mind and follows their own beliefs when they join the military.
You would never make it in the military, there are not enough mirrors.

Exactly and there are service members dying in Iraq so that you can run your D..k smackers.

Be glad you live in a country where you can run your mouth without any consequences.

I dont care who you are..I answered your question as I felt it deserved to be answered....and your statement above about your hair shows you have no intention of ever defending this country if needed so we know who you are with assuming anything....as to the answer quoted above...correct me if I am wrong but doesnt posting a question on here invite ALL to answer?....whoever posted that one has their opinon and used their right to advertise it...no big deal from my viewpoint....

Your comments speak volumes about your character and integrity. Have you ever heard the word vapid?

Some people take this site too far. When it gets personal, there's no excuse.
