how many people agree that the benefits system in this country is wrong how can you earn more money sat on your bum than phsyically going to work it doesnt make sense there was a girl in the papers recently over this and i dont understand why they can pay more on benefits than paying someone more to go to work????? any explaination would be grateful

I have to agree with you here.
We have soooo little income each week after tax, NI, rent and council tax is taken out.
Yet if we were on Income Support or Job Seekers we would have around £200 a week with no tax or NI and our rent and council tax paid for. Not to mention free school dinners and free prescriptions and dental treatment (which we currently have to pay for btw).
It's ludicrous, and all because my partner works his *** off all week long, often working 8-5.15 mon - fri and then 8-12 sat and sun as well!
The government needs to get the balance right and stop penalising people who work for a living while rewarding those that sit and do nothing all day!

Thats why my husband as to work abroad.The wages in this country are low.Yet benefits seem to be pretty high.

There is no point in complaining - you are 'preaching to the converted' here :-)
I suggest you either take up Politics or (if you refuse to sink that low), learn how to milk the system yourself ...
