your partner spent £30 on your credit card without asking?

Please, that is nothing. I know that pounds are worth a little more than $, so that's like $50. Hell, I go to the bookstore and blow that much on computer magazines and books without telling my wife. Try having a wife that spends like $200 dollars without asking, you find out when you try to buy something and your debit card is declined. Then you'd have a beef.

If they had the credit card then you have to expect them to use it, but thats not nice make sure you keep you credit card away from them next time. At least it was only thirty pounds it could have been 130 pounds

It really depends on the explanation they gave you and the agreement that you both had.

Did they take your card without your knowledge? If they did, then I would be very upset... enough that I cannot trust them and I would move on...

Did they tell you that they used it? And why? If so, there has to be some understanding here...

Without the whole story it is difficult to give an opinion.

UMmm.. not that big of a deal. Just ask her if she wanna pay it off or would she rather u cover this time around. Either way, if she can be sincere about it, then I guess i'll be Ok with it too. Mind u this will not always be the same.. I might not be so nice to her if infact, it does happens again.

30 lbs lighter and probably upset. If she doesnt work, give her a pre paid credit card with a limit.Only if she spends money on foolish things though. If it is things you need like groceries, car insurance tools for you, etc, then quit being mad.If it was the bill money used at the dog race, put her on a budget and give her an allowance, if she blows that take the allowance and take care of the money matters yourself.

It depends on the situation, I guess. Did I give him/her the credit card to use? If so, then I can't really be upset since I gave it to him/her. If he/she took it without asking and used it, then that's another issue and I would be upset.

We have a joint account and separate credit cards so I would be quite upset. I would feel like he stole from me. I think that is quite a low thing to do to someone you love. he would have to have a great reason for it and would need to make it up to me for a long time afterwards.

I would feel upset. Just ask and I'm sure it would be OK. However if this was something previously discussed and there was a mutual understanding, such as taking responsibility for the bill; then why should I be upset even if it is my ccard.? The bill's paid!

Angry, along with this: I would feel like I apparently made them feel comfortable enough with me that they assumed that this practice would be interpreted by me as natural. They would, without a doubt, have to repay me.

I would also feel/know that I would have to draw a line and make myself crystal clear to them on what they could do/not do. Just because we are in a relationship, doesn't mean my money is at your liberty. I would stress that we are still individuals and we need to respect each other by not assuming "my money is your money"
You gotta teach all people how to treat you!
