I have put on a set of 18" wheels on my 1998 Lexus Gs300 on 3/8/07 and when I drove the car with my wife on passenger side, she complained for uneven ride. And I've noticed that car was sagged on the left side but while measuring the gap between the wheel and the bottom edge of the fender right above the wheel, there was about 1.25" difference in gap for front right compared to others. What kind of problem is my car going through? Could I possibly have done this myself while changing the wheel? Please let me know what is wrong with my car and is this something I can fix myself? Is it suspension problem? maybe strut or spring? Please help me.

Time for stuts and do the rear shocks.

Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance

Also did you know if you change the wheels that you should change a little part out in the transmission too. Example, if your car came with 16" rims the transmission speedometer gear is set to this tire size. Now if you put on 18" then your speed may register a little less. Just think the distance the 16 inch wheel travels to the 18" tires. Little trivia good to know. Of course, the experts in the tire shops are all dumb and do not know about this.

Sounds like a broken spring

Check the struts first.... if not the case, then check the shocks. Might need some air in them.

take it to a garage to get your suspension checked, the sooner you do the better otherwise it might cause uneven sear on your tires as well as other damage
