what does it mean? labor has begun!
should you panic and run to er, or dr? no; unless the pain or bleeding increases then call the dr. as you are leaving for the hospital and let the nurse, service know you are bleeding and pain is intense and when it started etc.
remember though;
-you are considered term at this point, baby can come anytime
-edd is just that an estimate
walk, stand, clean the house thoroughly if you want to move it along or just relax if you not in the mad rush to get things started
call the dr office to give a heads up when the office is open
spotting is the show really, the little vessels are opening up and the cervix is opening so the spotting is happening.
could still be weeks away from holding that baby of yours but the labor has started! :)
goodluck!!

Sounds like the start of labor. Chances are the ER or your Doctor wont see you until your water breaks or your contractions are regular and about 5-7 minutes apart. Since you wont be able to eat once they do admit you, eat now, not too much, just snack on some things until you are closer to going to the hospital. Walk, that can progress your labor.

It definitely means that you should (and probably are by now) on the phone with your booked in hospital at least, and preparing to head in to be checked out. Never too careful, especially when there's blood a-showin'
Good luck Mummy : )

Definitely call the DR, you could be going into labor or something else could be happening. Whenever something happens that just doesn't seem right, get to the doctor

go to a hospital straight away, u could just b in labour, but this happened to my auntie, 30years ago and my grandma said its nothing , so she left it a couple of days and her baby actually passed, dont mess around with stuff like this, the placenta can start detatching, but ring the hospital and ask, good luck
