Unless you are too young, too old, or physically disaabled, you don't have a reason to not be in iraq fighting.

"What is your excuse?"

LOL

That doesn't even make sense. Why would I need an "excuse" to NOT go and fighty in a war that I do NOT support?

"Some of us have to stay here to keep you employed. "

LOL

you didn't answer the question chickenhcon! you have nothing to do with me being employed...just like you have nothing to do with the war you squawk about "supporting" as you hide behind a keyboard

"You do believe in honor, do you not?"

Yes I do...and I believe it is the ultimate in dishonorable when people say war's okay, just as long as someone, anyone else but me actually goes and fights!

Claims to be "43" then makes an ignorant post like:

"What are YOU doing beside listening to Punk-rock music and bad mouthing your country ?? "

Try READING and you'd know what I do.

And why LIE? I never badmouthed my country, only the chickenhawks that say that want war but won't go fight.

Cons won't just be honest and say that they are too afraid of dying, which is why they won't go fight!

Aside from the fact that both of my parents served in the Army Air Corps in WWII, I'm 58 years old. I served one enlistment in the Army and did 14 months in Vietnam in 1967-68. Then I served my community for 21 years in uniform. My eldest Grandson is a Marine PFC who's attending Desert School at 29 Palms prior to deploying. Now, you make no reference to any public service you may have performed so what have you ever done to serve anyone or anything other than yourself?

43 yrs of age, NPQ for flight-duties, and already served 15 years... with two Purple Hearts.

I tried to come of inactive reserve in 2001, but was told they could no longer use me.

I DO serve via volunteer time with the USO, and my local VA Hospital as well as the VWF.

What are YOU doing beside listening to Punk-rock music and bad mouthing your country ??

SIR, YES SIR!...PERMISSION TO RAISE MY CHILDREN SIR! I AM NOT A CHICKENHAWK SIR!

I think my reason is honest. I would like to raise my children in a two-parent home. I have chosen to bring 3 children into the world (before the war) and now I am honoring my responsibility. You do believe in honor, do you not?

Here's a question for you: I also respect police and the dangerous and life-threatening jobs they do...do you think every law abiding citizen be on the force tackling criminals as well?

I honor and respect your path in life, would you please kindly honor and respect mine?

I'm too old, and disabled. What is your excuse? With all this pent up anger I would think you would be the perfect candidate to go shoot something besides your mouth.

Some of us have to stay here to keep you employed. Why don't you ask the 93% of the nation's military that are conservative who are already there:

1,187 civilians in Lebanon killed, 3,600 wounded. 44 civilians dead in Israel, 100 wounded. 150,000 casualties in Iraq. Thousands in Afghanistan. More dead in Somalia. Dozens of people blown up by people who blow themselves up. Tank fire in one direction. RPG fire in the other. Prisoner abuse. Torture. Soldiers killing a family, and raping a girl. Depleted uranium. Blood spilled on the sad earth, ad nauseum. And on, and on, and on. The absurdity and insanity of it all. Just before the cease fire in the Israel-Hezbollah war went into effect at 0500 hours GMT, 14 August, there was a final push for maximizing destruction and death. Last licks, before time runs out. The maximization of casualties is not the characteristic of a sophisticated and highly developed species. Quite the contrary.
