What would you compare your recovery from a vaginal birth to?

How bad did it hurt? How long did it last?

i had three births. 1st on etook 12 hrs. the 2nd 10 and teh third 8. With my first i lost teh mucu splug at like 10 pm and had sex with my husband and woke up with terrible cramping pain at 5 am. I felt like i had to go to teh bathroom so bad. I tooka hot shower and everything, but couldnt swtay in denial that i was indeed in labor . we went to the hospital and ny 4 centimeters they kept saying do you want pain meds and i was like no imma wait. but by 5 i was lik ewhere is he. they said hes coming. i was yelling is he running? It wa spretty apinful. after getting the epideral i was good., thye gave me patosin to speed up th edialation nad then came th epushing. its okay your too focuses really to know what your feeling until they telel you to stop pushing but your body i sdoing it by itself and your trying to stop so that they can do what they nee dto do to prevent u from tearing. that hurts, but than you push your final push and its true you do forget the amount of pain you just endured when you see your angel. Afterwords if you develope dhemorroid stehy really hurt and you need some cream. with my first i was able to walk and everything as sosn as teh medicine compketely wore off. my clothes werent my best freinds right away but i wasnt in pain.if you require stitches they go away on there own and you keep your self from getting infected by using a squirt bottle the hospital give you to squeeze warm water up there to get the blood away every time you go to th ebathroom. you pat dry and thats it. you may bleed from 1 week to 6 weeks. depends on you. goo dluck and i hope this helps.

With my girls, recovery took a long time. My immune system was low and I caught every bug that came along. I was sick 10 days of every month for six months. I ran a fever as high as 105. With one of my boys, I got arthritis for 8 months. It hurt worse than labor.
