Only if your true love is Santa Clause. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, if you're into Magick, you could use the compass to create a charm to help you find, or "point you in the right direction" of your perfect mate. (Symbolically speaking, of course)

Wow, And to think...All these years I thought a compass pointed you in a North direction.
In the wilderness, Scouts arent lost, trying to find their way back to camp with nothing but their compass -- Noooo.
They are looking for their True Love.
How enlightening!!
Considering it is relatively harmless I suggest you try this myth/truth experiment out for yourself. Try it on several separate occasions, at different starting points etc and see what your results show. (Dont wander off too far though).
Perhaps wait until a good looking person is standing North of you too...an ugly person to your North may not be the true love you'd hoped for.
And last thing worth noting. If you have to ask "is this myth really true?"....then your answer is clear. Because if this myth was really true - then it wouldnt be a Myth now would it?
Good Luck in your search of your true love

A compass will always point North, it has got nothing to do with true love or anything else. Besides true love is hard to find so better be prepared for the realities of life instead of relying on myths! Here's hoping you find your true love very soon...and of course without any compass being in the scene!

Um...no it'll point North like all compasses do. Of course if you live down South then you can interpret it however you want.

Yes. And my compass is pointing at you :)
I think if this were a prevalent myth, you would find a larger percentage of people living to the north. I've never even heard of this one before.

No......It'll always point North if it's working as it should. Though, I'm sure you can find true love North, South, East or West!
