im getting lots of clicking noises when i come to a complete stop and when i hit bumps in the road. also i noticed it clicks as i remove myself from the car. like my body weight is causing the car to go down, then when i get out it goes up and makes the click. the noise sounds like its coming from underneath in the front end.at first i thought it might be my shocks or struts, now im wondering if it might be the ball joints? any ideas as to what it sounds like. or what it might cost to repair depending on what it is. thanks for any info you can provide

Go to autozone.com and put in your year and make and they have a troubleshooting section for your car

Go to each of the wheels and try to shake them real hard. If they feel loose then you need new bearings.

Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance. You can check out the prices of the ball joints too.
