Sounds to me this Dr- if that has passed judgement on to these young women causing stress-I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one due to natural causes or see a family member suffer in pain because of a medical condition. I also understand the emotional and financial impact is much worse if the death or disability of a loved one could have been prevented by proper medical care.
It is normal to want to place your trust and confidence in the medical professionals, facilities and companies in which we depend, especially during a time of need.
However, it is important to remember that physicians, as well as nurses, pharmacists, hospitals and other medical professionals, are not infallible. They make mistakes and the law requires that they be held accountable for it. Unfortunately, their mistakes often result in the death or disability of a loved one. The bottom line is that neither you nor your family should pay for their mistakes.
Medical malpractice is defined as "professional negligence where the healthcare provider deviates or departs from the accepted standard of care, causing an injury. The consequences of medical negligence is devastating. The damage done is often irreversible and can include present and future pain and suffering, the loss of life, loss of parental guidance and nurturing and/or present and future economic losses such as loss of earnings, loss of support, loss of household help, loss of health insurance and cost of future medical care, loss of pension, loss of annuity, loss of future social security benefits, and in a spousal claim, loss of consortium. If you suspect that you or a loved one might be a victim of medical malpractice or simply need more information, please contact us at 800-966-4999, qualified lawyers are here

The treatment of this young girl is so not right. She or her family should report the doctor to the Medical Board in her state. Just type in "Medical Board (state)" and find out the procedures for reporting bad doctors. She should also have an autopsy done on the infant to determine if the doctor did inject her with something. Make sure she has everything written down to the best of her memory now. Dates, times, doctor's name, when the cramping started, when she called the doctor the second time, who saw her afterwards, etc.
Then make sure you as her friend are there for her when she needs to talk. This is traumatic for every woman no matter the age.

I think you have a moral obligation to report your concerns to the director of the hospital. If there are other complaints pending against this doctor and her treatment of young pregnant women then this particular complaint with this young lady deserves to be investigated. There are many positions available in the medical industry and you should have no problem finding other employment. I commend you for addressing this matter. I would not want this doctor treating my child and I'm sure you feel the same....so why should others contend with her?

Start with writing to the hospitals where this doctor is affiliated, then contact a lawyer. Sometimes the media (TV, radio stations) are willing to get in on these situations.
