The resson as to why it doesn't accept anymore of the refrigant gas is probably because it's full. The average unit holds about 4 pints of freon. If you ac unit is not blowing cold air, my suggestion to you is take it to a repair shop that specializes in ac repair. They have a machine that in general blows out all of the old freon and hot air and puts new freon in it. If they think that you have a leak, they would explain that to you as well. Normally they shoot dye through the system to find out where the leak is and from there will repair your leak before waisting the freon to put into your system. It can be costly but in the long run its worth it if you want cold air during the hot muggy summer.

to much pressure in system, It is going to hold so much pressure, What you need to do is take it to an A?C man have the system vacuum down and the fer on replaced it should work fine , If you have condensation in it it will come out when it is taken down , Remember to much pressure will cause it not to work and make you think its empty, It only takes about two cans of Freon to make it work check the A/C decal for the right amount good luck

Number one, be careful, if you are on the wrong side, which is high side, it could blow can. Although this is usually not the case. The value (low side) might be working right. Needle value on can adapter not in right position.
Anyway, A/C Work is not that easy, get a good tech. to do the work.
Good question.

you somewhat screwed up!!!!!!!! The ninety one Corolla demands r-12 refrigerant. R134 won't artwork in this technique until the device has been retrofitted for r-134. The seals are in all probability shot.

Are you trying to fill on the low pressure side?.. if so the orifice may be restricted causing the low pressure side to run high...
