One... It's something strange we have never experienced before. What we do not know scares us. Two... Whatever we say, we love life. We enjoy living. We can't bear to think that one day we must leave our loved ones behind. We can't stand to think of leaving the world. We can't digest the fact that one day we'll be.... non-existent, except perhaps in people's minds and hearts.

We are the only animal on earth, that have a awareness and self knowledge of death, this is a fear of the unknown, So we create religion so that we can better deal with the end.

Speak for yourself. Don't ask questions thinking that ALL of us are all afraid of death. Some of us are not afraid so, the question should be stated, "If you are afraid of death, why?"

Because some of us think death is the end, and that your mind just ceases to exist,and there is no soul, no anything,to continue on, and I imagine that would be pretty frightening if I thought that.

we afraid of many things but the death is the one from which we all afraid but we also willing to do this because we think if we are not alive our all problems are finished but this is not right. we have to faith on god and every thing is possible.we afraid from it because we think when we have to face it pain comes and we dont accept it. its too hard to be die.

Because people are always afraid of things they don't understand. We always fear the unknown. And it seems so final.

First of all, it's a natural fear, given to us so that we would not commit suicide whenever things went wrong.
It is a fear of the unknown. We have nothing in this earthly plane that can compare.

we are afraid of death becase we dont know things we cant lern case befor we know it it comes to us that death is something that we cant recofer form

I think we fear death for the same reason we avoid dark alleys... We fear the unknown.
