I own about 300 of them, of course I will watch them. DVD really isn't that much better than widescreen VHS. They just last longer.
I really don't like the way DVDs compress colors. The water in JAWS has all kinds of digital errors and noise in it that isn't present in the analog copies. This is also why I won't waste my money on Digital Cable.

Last night, I watched "Year of the Dragon"(1985) with Mickey Rourke and Ariane (Koizumi). Earlier in the evening, I saw "Spider Force" with Pauline Chan and Carter Wong. Both are VHS. Pauline jumped off a building to her death in 2002, so I won't see any new movies with her. Night before last, I watched DVD's.

About a month ago we are trying to replace all of our VHS with DVDs but we still have some movies that we have not seen on DVD so we watch them sometimes
