i am not racist but i personally do not want to see this movie come out because since i was little, it was always just mulan,ariel,cinderella,snow white, and the other ones. i've been so used to it all and now some new one is coming out and they're going to add her to the disney parks now too!!! i personally am uncomfortable around the whole idea but what do you guys think???

once again, i am NOT BEING RACIST i am just uncomfortable because of newness. for several years i have become used to the fact that those are the only princesses and now a new one is coming out. sheesh you people all take this the wrong way and turn it all around on me!

No, Disney should STOP creating new princesses because Walt Disney himself is not here to create them. only these wannabe people with sucky stories are here.

i agree with you. im so comfortable with the old disneys i dont want this one. Even if it was black or white. I dont want another princess. I go to the theme parks every year and i always see the princesses. I dont want another one. And i am completely not fond of it at all. I think its a bad decision for the Walt Disney Co.
and yeah walt disney is not here himself.

I think its a great idea and its about time Disney created a black princess.
You saw you're comfortable with the ones that already exist. And don't want anymore. Did you know that Disney's princess-type movies hit a lull in the '60s--'70s? For a long time there was just Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty... In the '80s--'90s they added Mulan, Jasmine, Belle... What if Disney didn't add these others because people were comfortable they way it was? Then you wouldn't have some of your favorites that you mention. Do you see what I mean?
Disney needs to keep creating new "princesses" for the next generation!

Why are so uncomfortable with a new Black Disney Princess??? To the African American community we are glad that Disney now has a princess that pertains to our background. I think she looks beautiful and is a great addition to the past princesses. All the other princesses were either white or in Pocahontas's case Native American. So I'm glad that the Disney princesses are becoming more diverse.

my daughter loves the disney princess's and I buy her that stuff all the time and this actually come to mind the other day I was thinking why don't they have a black princess I'm glad I think it should've already been done.
