If you look at the black princess, you will notice that she will have certain physical traits and attributes, because young men (‘princes’ who define what being a ‘princess’ is), are attracted to young ladies that look like that. Simple as that. You can say what you like about beauty being skin deep, but in the movies, they made the beauty the girl and beast the guy, not the guy the beauty and the girl the beast. It just wouldn’t have gone over.
I’m sorry if I’m disillusioning you, but Disney is in the business of making money. Period. If they found tomorrow that they would make more money doing cartoons about assembling car engines, they would start offering GM a series of training films the next day. Up until now, the public has received their cutesy animals and romantic stories pretty well, so why change a winning combination?
Anyhow, yes, the NBA should allow white people in, but as I understand it, they were not really prohibited in the first place.
