how far along do you have to be to hear the babys heartbeat and docs apt.

It varies based on your doctor's technology, how strong your babies HB is and the position of the baby. Some doctor's can hear a heart beat as early as 5-7 weeks, many doctor's won't try until around 12 weeks.

I heard my kids at about 12 weeks b/c that is when the doctor first listened for it. Most won't try before that just b/c it can be difficult to pick up. It all depends on the doppler, and position of the baby.

My doctor heard mine at 12 weeks (they don't usually check before that because it's a little harder to hear). However, I was able to see it beating on the internal ultrasound at 6 weeks.

My Dr could not pay attention the pulse with a dopler at 12 weeks the two. She pronounced that's amazingly challenge-loose at that early degree. I wasn't apprehensive nevertheless because of the fact I had heard the pulse the day until now on a sonogram. completely usual. you're high quality. suited of success!

The heart beats very early on. You can see the heart beating on the ultrasound. I would say you would be able to hear it early on as the heart is one of the vital organs that is developed

I think its 9 weeks.I could be wrong.I know they start listening about 12.Or at least my doctor did.

usually around 12 weeks, but if you are heavy like me it sometimes takes longer. If you are thin sometimes sooner.
