plastic / porcelaine fish (Decors). you can buy that in the toy store. even without water it will survive. lol. fishes in general needs alteast a filter and airstones. remember that when we put it in a tank, water circulation is not present unlike in it's natural habitat.

Betas
What ever you do, DO NOT put a goldfish in a bowl. That is a myth that I really wish would go away. GF need 10 gallons a peice, with light, filter, airstone and HEATER. These people on here do not know what they are talking about if they tell you that you can keep goldfish in a bowl. They will die very quickly. As far as I know Betas are the only fish capable of living in a bowl, and you will have to change their water at least once a week... all of it.

Goldfish, if you plan on changing the water constantly, or a Betta. Both need to have water changes every week to keep water clean. I really wouldn't recommend having a goldfish in a bowl just because they are a dirty fish and they don't tend to live long in a bowl. Goldfish like room temp water and so does Betta's. If you put a goldfish in a tank that has water above 72 you are going to have a big problem with ick.

A stuffed one on your wall.
Keeping fish in unfiltered bowls is cruel and disgusting, and bettas are NOT happy in that environment no matter what anyone says. Goldfish are often mentioned but are guaranteed to die if not given proper conditions.
If you don't want a real tank with real supplies, don't get a fish. It's cruel to make an animal suffer just so you don't have to buy it the things it needs.

A dead one... Betta's and Goldfish can be kept without a filter and heater, but they do much better in a proper tank with them.
