OMG the list is endless but how about when my EX boyfriend came running into the pub where i worked and said 'terrible news my uncle has had a heart attack and he didn't survive' I obviously felt bad and comforted him but I wasn't upset as I had never met him. Although I met him the following Christmas, he had made the whole thing up and the uncle was alive and well. Safe to say EX wasn't right in the head!

Not bad boyfreind but bad husband yes!

My husband (my ex one not my current one) offered to take me away for my birthday. He promised to have it all planned and it was somewhere I would really like. I bought a new dress, had y hair done and was really looking forward to it. The hotel looked OK when we pulled up outside but inside it was obviously in need of a lot of TLC. We found out that new owners had just taken it over and had big plans for it. I also discovered that my husband had vouchers from a motoring organisation so this was all on the cheap! The new owners then explained that most of the hotel had been taken over by a stag do but that they had put us as far away from them as possible. The room was awful, small, draughty (this is February) and the shower cubicle covered in mould. But as we were in the middle of no-where and it was getting late we decided to make the best of it. We went to bed and the flashing light started - the room overlooked a lighthouse! Every three seconds or so a strong light flooded the room. I got little sleep.

The next morning my husband offered to take me to my favourite city for some sightseeing and shopping. 'Ah' I thought 'It all becomes clear, he's obviously booked a really nice restaurant there.' I decided to test my theory and kept pointing out nice restaurants and he kept ignoring my glances at the menues outside. Yep he's definitely booked somewhere. But we went back to the hotel.

I put on my new dress and asked where we were going. My husband mentioned a nearby seaside town. So I asked if he had booked somewhere. He hadn't. I pointed out that seaside twons in the North of England don't tend to have nice restaurants open in February on the off chance of a couple of tourists passing by. I made him ask the owners of the hotel for a recommendation. They suggested the nearby gof club. It was closed for renovations. We went to the seaside twon and wandered around getting colder and hungrier.

At 8pm I made my husband give up searching for something other than a McDonalds and return to an Chinese Restaurant we'd passed earlier in the day. The earliest reservation they had was 10pm. We agreed to wait. We had a couple of drinks and had just ordered some more when we were told our table was ready. We sat down and a waitress brought two drinks over, they were not what we'd ordered. Then some bloke comes flying over, accuses my husband of stealing his drink and a fight ensues.

What a memorable birthday that was! Still, at least it didn't cost him much!

I think every one has got bad boyfriend stories. It goes with the territory. A couple of years ago I was really ill and waiting to be admitted to hospital. My boyfriend knew this and agreed to come house sitting with me because I didnt want to be alone. That night I got much worse. When I tried to wake him up he grunted at me and rolled over and went back to sleep. I phoned my parents who rushed me to hospital straight away, where I got sent to intensive care with pneumonia. I was in hospital for two weeks and I didnt see my 'boyfriend' once. When I got out I phoned him to tell him it was over and I wanted to collect my things from his place. He acted all hurt and tried to lay the guilt trip on me, saying it was my fault that he didnt visit me because I didnt wake him up or phone him to tell him I was in hospital. I later found out that while I was in hospital he had been meeting up with women from dating sites and his ex girlfriend
