You should be on Pay as you earn (PAYE) when you do any work either contract or permanent. If you are registered with an agency, you will most likely be on their payroll. You will pay tax and national insurance if you are over the threshold, just keep an eye on your tax code. If this is your first job, then make sure the employer gives you a P46 to complete. If it isn't then make sure you give them your P45 from your previous job.

PAYE is the employers responsibility.

yes and no depends how much u earn but 99 percent you do on all working so if on benifits tell them
