Some people are exceedingly polite in their talk, which could be frustrating when you are seeking true opnions from them because that means you won't get any helpful or critical insights from them as they only try to be polite.

I don't talk as frankly as some people do as I believe there should be a balance between saying what you really mean & being tactful & polite. Every situation is different, but sometimes it's just not nice to say something really hurtful even if it is the truth. I don't think it's particularly clever to open your mouth & blurt out the first thing that comes into your mind without thinking.

I know of at least 2 people on this site who are totally honest about their sexuality, their gender, their feelings for other people and give totaly honest answers, and also try to help anyone and everyone to the best of their ability without being polite, shy, withholding anything and honestly try to help anyone. If they can answer what you ask they will do so to the best of their ability. The first is myself, I have been a post op TS for nearly 14 years now and I am also a lesbian, if anyone wishes to ask me anything at all I will gladly answer any questions you may have. The second is a very good friend of mine but lives on the opposite of the world, I wont give her name now because I dont have permission to do this, but I am sure she will gladly answer anything you wish to know. Between us we know practically everything about the TS world and lesbians and straight TS's. Fire away and in the first instance ask me and then if my friend gives her permission I could perhaps pass you onto her if I am unsure about anything. pauline.neild@btinternet.com You never know if you dont try. I have just read other answers and I am sure my friend will help anyone she already answered this question.

Some of us have come to terms with things and some of us have not. Some people are still a little deluded maybe ? I dont know. Personaly I find the truth is much more interesting ( and entertaining ) that the lies and BS you sometiems have to contend with.

It is just in their nature to be that others, others because of the way they were raised as children, some just because being polite fits in well with their every day life.

Some people are afriad to insult, also may not be used to having thier opinions heard so dont bother. Others may be embarressed by thier opinions. May also be scared of the reaction or consequences of what they say!

Personally i clal a spade a spade

I don't think that's true all the time. I consider myself polite except to people I dislike, but I'd give my opinion even if it doesn't agree with yours unless you're a bigot then I get nasty

Some people are just raised to believe that they should be impartial to their own lives. I, personally, am not. Ask me a controversial question, and I guarantee the answer will return with interest.

yes, some people try everything not to offend, even if its not of their opinion :::::::: others are up front and let be known what they think , i prefer frankness , so long as the said person will admit wrongs !!!! (its those that are "always" right in their mind and are not that annoy me most !!!!)
