Most Republi"cons" are really good hearted people that have been brainwashed into believing that the GOP will make them rich, and they will be able to achieve the American dream by getting good paying jobs.

They believe the hogwash, that the GOP has been spewing out for decades, that war is good for the economy.

Hypocrites like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Jimmy Swaggert have drilled into their heads that the GOP is the party for Christians.

What they don't realize is that the GOP only helps the big corporations who are, at this time, betraying the American dream by moving all their jobs to foreign countries, thanks to NAFTA.

They just don't understand that, if the GOP had their way, we'd still be working 60 hour work weeks for $7.00 a week as it was under Herbert Hoover's (The Republican that brought on the Stock Market Crash of 1929, which triggered the Great Depression that lasted for years, until F.D.R., a Democrat brought us out) times.

Look at how high the price of gasoline has risen to under Bush, a big oil man, bought and paid for by the G.O.P.

And there are now additives in gasoline that make it evaporate into the ozone much quicker.

A gallon of gasoline just doesn't go as far as it used to.

Yes, the GOP works very hard for big business and they don't believe in government controls when it comes to corrupt corporations.

It's the Democrats that gave us such laws as "Anti-Child Labor", "Overtime Pay", "Social Security", and who fight against "Sweat Shop conditions", the GOP couldn't give a "rat's nail in hail" about the common man.

The Democrats are and have always been for a more equal America, some might say that this is akin to Socialism, and if it is, then sobeit, at least we are concerned that our neighbors are getting fed and have their needs too.

The Democrats work hard for the working class and the underpriveledged families out there in America.

God Bless America and may the GOP never shred it's Constitution again.

Gee, Thanks Tom too bad we didn't have you on Sept10 I'm sure things would have been different. I read by your either real or fake accent you are either Irish or a pirate. If you are Irish then we know you have never suffered bombings from the IRA. If your a pirate then your view of what Republicans should do to save the world is really invalid. If you are a pirate then I know it is safe to presume you speak from the left side of your mouth. If your Scottish then I presume your drunk.

The problem is NOT Republican VS Democrat. The problem is that 90 percent of the people trust that those they have representing them are doing their job. The only job they are doing is lining their own pockets...or those of their family members. Look at the current Governor of Texas! Requiring girls take that drug for sexually transmitted diseases. His family is all over that drug company. IF it is SO NEEDED then all patents should be OFF and it supplied FREE.

What's up? Did they run you out of Scotland? You certainly are not what I would expect from a Scot. You must be British and your family only lived in Scotland.

My impression of Republicans (and its just my impression), is that they are blindly loyal to their party. They do not question or voice any kind of dissent. Their stands on issues are immovable, as they refuse to even listen to another side with an open mind. Listening does not correspond to believing...but they seem to be afraid to listen. There is no room for 'agreeing to disagree'. Goes back to Bush's stand of "You are with us or against us". That really says it all about Republicans...at least thats my impression.

What Super Ruper said, just substitute Democrat for Republican.

Hmmm... it seems that we do think alike after all.

Republicans are like lions defending their young.
Liberals/cowards are good like good little lapdogs waiting to get scraps from the table of whoever is in power.
