Should I be gracious when I hear my sister's opinion of my new shoes?

I have a sister like that to that is much older than me. she use to hurt my feelings all the time with her comments. which i didn't even ask! But now that I am older here is how i see it. Have you ever noticed how many different styles of shoes there are? colors styles is almost too much. The reason is, Not everyone has the same taste. So no matter what your taste is you will more than likely find a shoe. So the next time she says something not so nice you can tell her that she just has different taste than you and you are glad, because you wouldn't want her wearing the same shoes as you anyway!♥

Everyone is entitled to their opinions...if you're gracious when she makes unkind remarks then this makes you the mature one. I would just laugh and then say in a pouty tone...maybe with a boo-boo lip..."I like my shoes." Then leave it at that...even if she has more to say on the subject.

just dont ask for her opinion and if she says something negative tell her that you didnt ask her what she thinks.
