With the risk of being accused of generalising, why is it that most Americans on Yahoo! are so angry and opinionatted..not to mention racists, homophobic and unsupportive of their nations heroes...........................................

because the country is going to hell in a handbasket and the fruitcakes want to act like everything is peachy and try to tell u ur wrong for not agreeing with whatever they tell you ... in a nutshell ..

There's a lot of very opinionated people, American and otherwise, and Yahoo Answers is a pretty good place to vent without identifying yourself or really attacking anyone face to face. In the USA, it's easy to get into some kind of trouble if you have an unpopular opinion and don't keep it to yourself.

Our country is always being bashed by most of the world even though we give them everything. Look at south America and Mexico. We are babysitting 20% of the country of Mexico because they cannot run their own country. And we are paying tax dollars to do so.
