Did I tell you about that time my baby said ''Puff' in a supermarket ? Oh it was so embarrassing, but she is gorgeous. Isn't she gorgeous ? Have you ever seen such a beautiful child ?

I don't know, it must be a habit for some people I guess, I mean one time I was telling this story about my son when he bit this other kid in the class and he almost got kicked out of the infant class you know the one where the kids are under the age of one, and it was just this big old rukus. Oh here I go again I am sure you did not want to here that either, but really I could tell you lots of stories because my life is about my kid.
The above paragraph is about the truth, except my child is not in daycare. When you have children your life tends to revolove around them. With teenagers it is their sports and love affairs. With older people it is about grandchildren and traveling. All of us generations have a tendency to harp on one thing or another.

People like talking about themselves, and telling stories about their children is just an extension of this. When people talk about their kids, it's not really about their kids, it's about what the parent made, is bringing up, etc.

I am taking it you have no children? Otherwise I dont think you wouldve asked the question. When you have children they are your life and it may seem simple to the other person,but the person with the child, its like a miracle took place.

I quite agree! I only think my own are cute and funny. I hate everyone elses kids so I don't subject other people to mine.

they don't.they just inflict there boring lives on others because if someone else is suffering more than them they at least feel good for a short while.
