Okay, I have this friend - Bethanne - who is really nice and funny. She just lies alot. ALOT. And I've had problems with her in the past (she wouldn't stop poking me and it got to the point where she was causing me physical pain), but those problems are over now. But just yesterday she was over my house and she went on my computer. She signed on her screen name on AIM and started talking to one of her friends saying it was me. She gave my first and last name and everything! So she starts saying stuff like, "I like poop. Poop is good. Want to go poop on the toilet?" And I was like omg Bethanne. That's gross. She was like, "It's funny." She wouldn't stop when I kept telling her to, so I got mad. I said "Get off my computer now." She was a little upset. But what was I supposed to do? This person she was talking to thought I was a total nut case. And she won't look me or my parents in the eye when talking to us. Please, give me advice.

She's my bff, and I don't want to hurt her feelings or anything, but she can be such a brat sometimes. Please, no rude answers. I only want people 100% serious. Because I am.

Well I think what your friend did was really rude and childish. I mean do think she is really worth a friend? Is she there for you when you need her? Can you trust her w/ your deepest darkest secrets? Do you have fun w/ her? is she a nice person despite her lying problem? I would suggest that you talk to her and tell her how this made you feel. Ask her why she always is lying, and tell her that it is ruining your friendship. But make shure you tell her in a nice way, be sensitive and listen to hwat she has to say. This way she will be willing to listen to you.

You are a very tolerant friend. The idea that your parents don't like her is understandable - because they see what you don't see. This girl obviously is very immature and has some issues, especially since she lies so much. All these things will just cause you drama and issues and your parents want to spare you that.
You can't do anything for her except confront her about the lying and the immature things she does, and/or stop being such close friends with her.
