i have been using limewire for a while but it is causing far to many problems is there any other free downloadable programs that i can use for music and pictures etc that is safer to use thanks to all who helps

I had a few probs with Limewire too, I had to keep scanning for viruses!

We use limewire now with no problems, but we did use WinMX.

For MUSIC, you might like to consider a site, called "ARES"! It was recommended to me, a few months, ago, - and, it's BRILLIANT! Also, there's another one called "PIOLET"! I use the PAIR of them, "IN TANDEM", these days, - and I have NOT had ANY of the "HASSLES", that I was getting from "LIMEWIRE"! Good HUNTING my friend!

all p2p downloadable programs like limewire are spyware and are full of viruses.

i used limewire and started having trouble with it as well... try shareaza... www.shareaza.com it's easy to use and works well

frostwire is far better, and is faster. has the same interface as limewire, and has the same functions and ease of usability

yep try Shareaza it searches other file sharing programmes and has no added spyware been using it for years its fab ...
