hi there, wot year is the corsa? if its the older corsa (93-96) then it will be a cable, all the connections to the speedo drive are in the same place at the back of the gearbox, your cable might of snapped, if it is a corsa b (96-98) early model it will have an electronic speedo driver running of a mechanical driver inside the gearbox, if its any of the later model corsa then it will be fully electronic, then it will be the electric sender thats in the gearbox

the speedo cable runs from the back of the speedo on the dashboard to the gearbox, it looks exactly like a brake cable on a childs bicycle, the cable inside the sheath is actually square and fits into the gearbox using a retaining circlip, the gearbox spins the cable and the cable move the needle, either the cable has come adrift from the gear box or the cable has snapped inside

yes under the steering wheel there is an access panel that goes up to the back of the dash just make sure theyare all on tight and check your fuse boxes in the car and under the bonnet you can take the dash out its only a couple of screws but this is just as easy

Try googling 'Speedy Cables'; they're experts on this and should be able to help you via email or even over the phone.
