I "think" I'd like to be a red winged blackbird. (Not just ANY blackbird, only red winged.) They make this beautiful, peaceful "whistling" sound, & there's a whole field of them in Carmel where I always parked the car awhile after going to my gallery, & just listened, & watched the dashes of cadmium red as they tipped the rushes. They'r sweet & serene & everyone I know loves them. (That was hard, because my first thought, was to come back EXACTLY like my cat, but that's impossible.) Oh! I loved javy! Penguins--the way they walk--always dressed for success!

I would be a cat. They are perfect creatures. I agree with the Egyptians. They should be worshipped as gods. The most beautiful, graceful, balanced, mysterious, magical, strong, independent animals! I love their large haunting eyes. The comforting sound of their purring. The fluid, effortless grace of each movement. How they always land on their feet.
The best compliment I ever got was being compared to a cat. A boy in my creative writing class told me that I was "too felinely graceful to be human"! Pretty cool! Good pick up line! Tee hee!

A giggly giraffe.
They're peaceful and mostly unchallenged by preditors (except when drinking water alone & at birth). They weigh 5 times of lions, and have feet the size of lion's heads. There height allows them to see everything going on around them.
Add to that the ability to laugh & giggle, and WOW life would be great.

A turtle or tortoise. I have spent most of my life as human racing through the days achieving what needed to be done (jobs, shopping, getting from one place to another) for once I would like to see the world without having to speed through it.

Damn, I love the human form the best (stupid as we can be, humanity is something to be embraced...), something humanoid-esque that looks completely human or just human without all the bigotry and stuff in this world. Who'd want to be anything else?

The new cat-a Toyger. Small and graceful as a typical feline, but marked like a ferocious hunter. My presence would demand respect, but my heart would still be as playful as a kitten! A toy-tiger-Toyger!
